In 1999 Jewel Of The North started out inTourism catering specifically to snowmobilers! Originally we were known as"Jewel Of The North Snowmobile Adventures" & Operated only in the winter months offering guided tours through the Lakeland area and bed-and-breakfast style accommodations.
In 2002 Business had grown to the point where we transitioned into a four season resort, we carved The Jewel out of virgin Forest overlooking a natural spring fed pond, & most importantly to snowmobilers, we have groomed trail access! Jewel Of The North has our main Lodge with dining room, lounge, antique Pool Table (that you don't have to pay to play!), & VLT's.
Since we started catering to snowmobilers, we kept that in mind when we built our rental cottages, which offer rustic luxury,& room for your gear!! Now more than 25 years later, Jewel Of The North is open year-round, but at our heart, our snowmobile guests are our favourite.
So whether you're travelling as a family, a larger group, or a snowmobile club be sure to come in.
“We’re called Jewel Of The North for a Reason!!”
